PURPOSE:To conduct automatic welding without being hindered by lounge members while jointing hull blocks by locating the edges of the lounge members at the inside of contacting faces of hull block edges and making on L-shaped trunk forming section open toward the contacting faces. CONSTITUTION:The edges of lounge members made of reverse angle steel of hull blocks 1 face contacting faces A which joint individual blocks 1 together, and are located inwardly at a distance of alpha from the contacting faces A. A trunk forming section 8, arranged in a L shape, is fitted to the edges of the lounge members 7 with its opening faced toward the contacting faces A. When both blocks 1 are jointed, a trunk 9 is formed on the contacting faces A by the trunk forming sections 8 of both blocks, therefore welding of the contacting faces A can be conducted by using an automatic welding machine without being hindered by the lounge members 7. |
