Nozzle plate for refuse incinerator - with air channels in nozzle block leading to combustion space to register with outlet bores

The plate assembly (1) consists of a nozzle pipe (3) installed on an air chest (2). A nozzle head (5) is let with reinforcement into a nozzle block (4) and can be removed from the pipe and chest. Air channels (7) in the block (4) lead to the combustion space (8) and register with air outlet bores (6) in the nozzle head (5). The block is pref. constructed of refractory partly ceramic material. USE/ADVANTAGE - Refuse incinerators. The nozzle plate assembly keeps the wear-pronee parts remote from the combustion area and refractorily screened from this.
