<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the traveling performance, the wear resistance and the electromagnetic converting properties, by providing a thin film of a vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer on the rear surface of a supporter or on a metalli magnetic thin film. CONSTITUTION:A metallic magnetic thin film is formed on a supporter by vapor deposition or a plating process, etc. Then a copolymer thin film is provided on the metallic magnetic thin film or the rear surface of the supporter. The copolymer is composed of a monomer containing >=50% vinylidene chloride, >=10% acrlonitrile and the balance having at least one unit of addition-polymerizable unsaturated bond and contains vinylidene chloride of >=5,000mol weight and acrylontrile as the repeating unit.</p> |
