<p>PURPOSE:To provide good visibility for a car following even under daytime solar beam by fitting a stop lamp to the inner side of an open/close plate on the top plate of a rear spoiler, and causing the lamp to appear on the spoiler as interlocked with a foot brake. CONSTITUTION:When a driver steps down a foot brake, the coil part 13 of a solenoid 5 is electrically energized. A piston rod 8 is thereby shifted and an arm 9 and a lever 10 are turned about a support axis. Consequently, an open/close plate 5 is opened to the position of a two-dot chain line above a rear spoiler 1. In this case, electric power is concurrently supplied to a stop lamp 6 fitted to the inner side of the open/close plate 5 and the lamp 6 lights. Furthermore, the beam 16 of the lamp 6 passes a lens 12 and is emitted to both sides of a following car. On the other hand, an air damper 4 fixed to the forward end of a piston rod 8 draws the air from an inlet hole 26a to a bellows 25 for giving a cushion effect at the time of the reset of the solenoid 3. According to the aforesaid construction, the lighting position of the stop lamp 6 is shaded against a solar beam with the open/close plate 5, and it becomes possible to provide good visibility to a following car, even under the daytime solar beam.</p> |
