PURPOSE: To make a lateral rigidity ratio to a longitudinal direction extremely high by providing each slab connected to one armature part, with a slidable face parallel with a common plane, and sliding this slidable face along a slidable face of the other slab to cooperate with each other. CONSTITUTION: An elastic connecting device has a block 26 of elastomeric material connected to two mutually displaceable armatures 32, 34 respectively having parts 42, 44 extended parallel with a common plane, and abutting stabs 47, 49 installed between two armature parts 42, 44 so as to act to receive compressive force. This constitution increases the elastic rigidity of the connecting device in a displacement direction T right-angled to the common plane. Two abutting slabs 47, 49 each of which is connected to one of armature parts 42, 44, have flat slidable faces parallel with the common plate, and one of the flat slidable faces slides along the other slidable face to cooperate with each other. |
