PURPOSE:To easily discharge sludge settled on the bottom of a vessel holding a metallic plate treating soln. without taking out floats for preventing the radiation of heat floated in the vessel by bendably connecting and arranging the floats in a row and bending and standing them against the inner wall of the vessel prior to cleaning. CONSTITUTION:Float parts A, B made of fiber reinforced thermosetting resin are connected with a joint hinge, a shaft rod, etc. to form a float block. A plurality of such float blocks are arranged in a row, floated on the surface of a heated soln. 8 in a liq. vessel 10 for treating a metallic plate, and moored to the outside of the vessel 10 with ropes 9 to prevent the radiation of heat from the surface of the soln. 8. When the vessel 10 is cleaned, the soln. 8 is drawn, the floats are bent at the connecting positions to superpose the parts A, B, and they are stood against he inner wall of the vessel 10 or stacked up at a suitable place. Sludge settled on the bottom of the vessel 10 is then discharged. By this method cleaning can be finished in a short time, and the term stopping the treatment of a metallic plate can be shortened. |
