Density data 112 read by an uneven density reading head 51 is once stored in a RAM 113. An average of density data within a leveling region corresponding to the color selection signal 130 among density data is assumed as a density data to be recorded by a discharge port corresponding to a central picture element in the leveling region. Thus, it is possible to calculate the average of density data within the leveling region, and a CPU is 115 operated to rewrites uneveness correction data on the basis of the density data corresponding to the discharge port, thereby making it possible to make a conversion table, etc., simplest. |
