PURPOSE:To facilitate the building of a hull block without reducing its strength, by corrugating the external side plates and deck plate of the hull and filling synthetic resin in the recesses on the outside surface of the hull to dispense with small reinforcing members such as longitudinal beams and anti-flection members. CONSTITUTION:The external plate 2 of each side of a ship, the external plate 3 of the ship bottom, the deck plate 4, longitudinal bulkheads 5 and transverse bulkhead are made of corrugated plates having recesses 6 extending toward the bow of the ship. The recesses 6 of the underwater part of the external plate 2 of each ship side, the external plate 3 of the ship bottom and the deck plate 4 are filled with synthetic resin 8. Since the corrugated structure is provided, small reinforcing members such as longitudinal beams, longitudinal ribs and elements for preventing the flection of the bulkheads are not needed. For that reason, the building of the hull block is facilitated without reducing its strength. |
