Installation of plaster-board ceilings - by attaching plasterboard panels to rails formed by channel sections

A plasterboard ceiling is mounted on rails formed by channel sectons (4) with the edges (5) of the flanges folded inwards and downwards. These channel sections are suported by either of two types of anchor elements (1,2). The first type (1) consists of a flat plate with hooked ends (3 which engage the turned in edges (5) of the flanges of the channel section (4). A tube attached to the plate receives a pin (2) which supports the anchor element on the flanges of the channel section. The second type of anchor element (1a) is formed from a narrow strip bent to form a channel section with the edges (3a) of the flanges bent outwards to engage the flanges of the channel section rail (4).
