The rotary point-action high pressure water jet pressure housing with inlet and outlet contains a rotary turbine runner to drive a rotating nozzle whose tip passes through an opening on the housing endface coaxial to the runner and is sealed into the opening. The nozzle (8) is a stalk type leg at an angle to the runner rotation axis (7). Spaced one side of this axis the runner is fitted with or coupled to a socket mounting (12) for the nozzle end furthest from the tip (9), the nozzle end here forming a bearing head (13) which rotates freely relative the socket but is limited by endstops towards the housing (10) opening (10). A flexibly deforming sealing ring (14) in the opening (10) seals onto the nozzle tip (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Pressure jet cleaning etc. The simple sealing effect guards against premature wear or flow braking using rotatably carried nozzle with end bearing socket.
