The double-layered pipe (1d) for carrying especially very abrasive solids mixed with fluids consists of a wear-resistant linging-pipe (2) especially made of hardened steel. A casing pipe (3) of welding steel encloses the lining-pipe. connecting-flanges (4,4a-d) are welded to the casing pipe (3). The lining-pipe's outer diameter and the casing-pipe's (3) inner diameter match. The length (L) of the lining pipe (2) enables the lining and casing (3) pipes to fit inside each other without being deformed. Each connecting flange (4,4c,4d) consists of a welded outer coupling ring (6,6a,6b) and an inner wear ring (7,7a,7b). USE/ADVANTAGE - The double-layered pipe's life is prolonged and it can be easily replaced radially in a line of pipes.
