PURPOSE:To provide a pad printing requiring only simple operation of replacing a sheet plate by transferring ink onto an object to be printed from a concave of an intaglio plate filled with ink as exposed when a pad is pressed on to the plate from above after the printing plate is partly covered with the sheet plate. CONSTITUTION:Ink in an ink tray 3 is placed with a brush on an integlio plate 1 in which a concave 2 is cut on the central surface thereof. Then, the concave 2 is filled with ink, raking it with a doctor blade 5. A sheet plate in which a hole 9 is cut in the shape matching a desired character, number or the like entirely covers the surface of the concave 2 and a pad 7 made of a soft silicone rubber is pressed onto the intaglio plate 1. Once shifted to the surface of the pad 7 from the concave 2 being exposed, ink is transferred onto an object 8 to be printed by pressing it thereon. |
