<p>PURPOSE:To easily discriminate a file inferior to binding by mounting a pair of electrode members and a means checking the presence of continuity between a pair of the electrode members to detect binding inferiority. CONSTITUTION:A binding inferiority detection apparatus 16 is constituted of electrodes 1a, 1b and a comparator 2 being an inferiority detection means. A file 4a is set at a predetermined position by a staple tray 43 and, when an instruction is issued to a stapler driving part 17 from a CPU 10, a needle press plate 7 is pushed down along with needles 5 and needle points 5a, 5b pierce the file 4a to come into contact with the recessed parts 6a, 6b of the electrodes 1a, 1b and the electrodes 1a, 1b are shortcircuited by the needles 5. When the needle press plate is further pushed down, the needle points 5a, 5b are forcibly bent inwardly by the slopes of the recessed parts 6a, 6b and, when the needle press plate 7 presses the file 4a to the electrodes 1a, 1b through a bridge 5c, the needle points 5a, 5b certainly bind the file 4a. Next, at a time of normality by the judgement of the inferiority detection apparatus 16, the bound file is discharged and, at the time of binding inferiority, an LED 8 alarming this state lights.</p> |
