The force measuring device possesses at least two deformation rings (4,5) connected, on inner and outer generating lines of the body (1), to the force-introducing elements (13,14,15) and so to the force-transmitting surface (2) and the reaction provided by the base plate (3). The ring-shaped force-introducing elements connect the deformation rings together and these deformation rings have on surface mounted gauges (7,8) for converting the deformation into electrical signals. The deformation rings and the force-introducing elements lie essentially in one plane and are concentric and the strain gauges are fitted to the surfaces inside the outer element and in the inner space (6). ADVANTAGE - Low overall height, low prodn. cost and protection for strain gauges performing measuring.
