<p>The arrangement permits transmission of lever movement to an effective part, and has a movable lever fixed in a housing, or a fixed lever with a movable housing or box. The value represented by the lever is displayed either digitally, in analogue-fashion or mechanically directly on the lever for reading by an operator. The display either indicates the position of the lever or that of the object being controlled. The type of unit, the position of which is controlled, can be an electric motor-driven device, air or oil-driven unit with linear or rotary movement. On the piston connecting rod involved is a code which enables the rod position to be indicated to a calculator unit. The control lever calculator and the driven unit coded measurement value coincide when they emit an electrical signal consisting of e.g. a stop, alternative start of movement, or alteration in speed of movement.</p> |
