PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration gyro simple in structure which is small in size and inexpensive and has a superior SN ratio by providing a detecting means which projects in a Z-axis direction at the base part of a driving vibrator consisting of two arm members and a base part. CONSTITUTION:The driving vibrator 7 consists of the arm members 4 and 5 and base part 6. The detecting means 21 is provided projecting downward from the base part 6 of the driving vibrator 7 and a base 9 is fixed to the lower end part of the detecting means 21 which detects torsional moment Mt is constituted by polarizing a piezoelectric material 1 of, for example, a rectangular hexahedron shape in a Z-axis direction and positioning both electrodes 19 and 20 on surfaces crossing a W direction at right angles while they are displaced toward one of surfaces u1 and u2 crossing a U direction at right angles, e.g. the surface u1.
