The present invention offers a box sealer to attach adhesive tape in L-shape on corners of a box for medical drugs, cosmetics, etc. The box is first received at the rectangular corner (3, 5) furnished on top surface of the box sealer, and adhesive tape (14) of the predetermined dimension is sent out from below and is cut. By sliding the attachment plates (17, 23) on the corners of the side and the bottom of the box, adhesive tape is attached in L-shaped form. Knurled rollers (7, 7') to send out adhesive tape are furnished in tandem, and one of the rollers is rotated at twice the speed of the other. Each roller has a circumferential groove and an associated member (11) causes the tape to assume a V-shaped cross-section. A microswitch (6) to detect the box and to rotate motor is mounted near the rectangular window (5) of the housing, and a pair of operating pins (6a) of the microswitch are provided in parallel. <IMAGE> |
