<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a golf bag without any disturbance for vertically standing up, and capable of supporting the golf bag by an acute angle by providing it with a leg relating to a shell body, a means for allowing the movement of the leg, an actuating means, a partial bottom portion changed for allowing the downward movement of the shell body, and the remaining of the bottom portion of almost straightly extending to the slender shaft of the shell body. CONSTITUTION: The leg 22 of a golf bag 10 is normally housed in a concave portion on the side of the golf bag. In this position, the golf bag 10 can be supported by the first portion 17 of a bottom by positioning the shell body 12 toward a vertical direction. During a play, when a golfer or caddie carries the golf bag or the golf bag is put down and a club is pulled up, the leg is positioned to be moved and extended, and then the golf bag is supported by the second portion 19 of the bottom portion and the leg 22. The golf bag is inclined, the second portion 19 of the bottom is made mostly parallel to the ground, and the bottom of a bar-shaped body 30 is brought into contact with the ground.
