<p>PURPOSE:To improve gasoline resistance and bending resistance by constituting a pipe with the inner layer of high density polyethylene and with more than one kind of the outer layer of elastomers chosen from amide elastomers, olefine elastomers and vinyl chloride elastomers. CONSTITUTION:A filler pipe 2 in contact with a fuel tank 1 is constituted of a soft pipe part 2a like bellows in the vicinity of a flange 4, and the side closer to oil filler ports than to the soft pipe part 2a is constituted of rigid pipes 2b, 2c. The soft pipe 2a is a laminated construction of the inner layer 6 of high density polyethylene and the outer layer 7 of elastomers. Each of rigid pipe parts 2b, 2c is composed of a single layer of high density polyethylene. Elastomers are chosen from groups of amide, olefine, and vinyl chloride. As the result, while attempting to make weight reduction and yet obtaining flexibility, gasoline resistance is obtained and durability is improved.</p> |
