PURPOSE:To allow the sufficient and sure expansion of the vital organ and further the position correction and removal of a vital organ expander in the vital organ by providing a mechanical deforming means for mechanically deforming the vital organ expander. CONSTITUTION:Air or physical salt soln. 16 is supplied to a 1st balloon 3 to inflate the 1st balloon 3, by which the blood vessel or organ 20 is closed in front of the constriction part and a catheter body is fixed to the blood vessel or organ 20. Hot water 18 is then fed from an aperture 5 into the organ 20 and a prosthetic material 8 fitted onto a 2nd balloon 4 so as to enclosed this balloon is risen to an original shape (stored shape) resetting temp. (transition temp.) or above and is reset to the original shape and enlarged in its diameter. The constricted part 21 is expanded in this way. Air or physical salt soln. 17 is supplied to the 2nd balloon 4 to inflate the 2nd balloon, by which the prosthetic material 8 is further expanded to sufficiently expand the constricted part 21. The 1st, 2nd balloons 3, 4 are then successively shrunk. The prosthetic material 8 is detained in the blood vessel or trachea 20 while the constricted part 21 is sufficiently expanded when the catheter body 2 is removed. |
