The system is characterised in that it comprises a colour video camera (2) linked by way of matching optics (10) to a fibre endoscope (11) introduced into the hollow organ to be studied of a patient and a computer device (25) intended for the processing of the colour endoscope image provided by the camera (2) so as to send an endoscope image of specified shape and specified coloration to a server system (33) which searches for at least one medical image of a typical lesion as close as possible to the transmitted image to be analysed.
