PURPOSE:To judge whether color conversion must be performed to a document or not and the kind of the color conversion before copying and to enhance the throughput of a copying device by providing an optical marker read means for reading a marker on the document for displaying color conversion information in relation to a path for feeding. CONSTITUTION:The feeder is an automatic document feeder which is disposed in a copying device 3 by which the color conversion can be performed to an designated area on the document 8 and automatically feeds the document 8 to a document read position. The optical marker read means 21 and 22 for reading the marker on the document 8 for displaying the color conversion information are provided in relation to the path for feeding. As a result, the recorded markers are read from the fed document 8 one after another and a color discrimination means discriminates according to the read signal whether the color conversion must be performed or not and the kind of the color conversion. Thus, the color conversion and copying under every mode are automatically performed. |
