ELECTRIC FILTER CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: To provide a connector withstanding high voltage at the time of electric power surges by installing a dielectric surface between the first and the second electrode plates of a capacitor, and arranging variable dielectric material on the dielectric surface between the electrode plates of an assembly. CONSTITUTION: After a capacitor 22 and a grounding spring 20 are soldered to a printed wiring board 28 with the same operation, a fixed amount of dielectric material 36 is arranged on the capacitor. The dielectric material 36 is arranged on the dielectric surface between electrode plates 22a and 22b of each capacitor. This additional arrangement of the dielectric material 36 means the placement of a strong dielectric medium between capacitor electrode plates. Therefore, the voltage capacity of the electric connector increases, and the connector withstands a voltage surge.
