<p>PURPOSE: To correctly separate the force of contact added to a display screen by totaling the forces in the axial direction of one axis from the outputs of plural sensors, and comparing the totaled value with plural static threshold values. CONSTITUTION: When a force added to a display screen 1 is monitored by a sensor 13, plural threshold values are used in order to chase and analyze force output signals from the sensor 13. A dynamic threshold value for chasing an actual contact force is used by a high level force, and the problem of a spurious signal generated by the shaking of the display screen 1 suspended by a spring 5 is solved by the high level force. Also, when a user lightly touches the screen 1 of a display device, a threshold value in a low level is used so that the drop out of a signal can not occur. Thus, the class of the level of the force added to the display screen 1 can be exactly measured, and the signal components of shaking can be eliminated by exactly detecting the light touch and the strong force.</p> |
