Diazotype paper or film intended for development when heated, with steam, in water or using thermal heads, comprising a first layer containing a diazonium salt, a nondiffusible, insoluble and hydrophobic flux intended to repel the second layer during its application and a nondiffusible stabilising acid, the second layer containing a development agent in the form of an insoluble and nondiffusible derivative capable of melting in the flux, comprising a heterocyclic compound such as morpholine, piperizine, piperidine, pyrimidine or pyridine, intended to neutralise the stabilising acid during the development, it being possible for the said derivative also to include a coupling residue.
