The invention relates to a colour cathode-ray tube and magnetic screenings and a frame installed in such a tube. This cathode-ray tube, including a neck (1a), a flared part (b) in the form of a truncated pyramid connected to the neck and a front display panel (1c) connected to the flared part and possessing a part forming a skirt extending along the axis of the tube, on the periphery of the panel, comprises a frame (5) arranged along the inner surface of the skirt-forming part in the direction of the axis of the tube, a perforated mask (4) mounted on the front of the frame (5), magnetic screening in the form of a strip (11 and/or 12) placed on the internal and/or external periphery of the frame.
