PURPOSE: To provide a strong suspension device for a heat shielding body without a sliding contact by providing a spring bias means and a heat connection means for heat-connecting a heat radiation shielding body to a first stage heat station. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum container 11 is provided with a cylindrical extension part 27 projected outwards in a radial direction and the cylindrical extension part 27 is provided with an annular cover 31. The center axis of the cylindrical extension part 27 is present on a radial line extended from the vacuum container 11 on the axial direction center plane of the vacuum container 11. A magnet cartridge 17 is supported inside the vacuum container 11 by three concentric thin cylindrical pipes 33 and 35 and 37. The magnet cartridge 17 is supported close to a part where a load is applied by the low temperature end part 53 of cryocooler 51. Thus, the bending stress of the magnet cartridge 17 is reduced and the strong suspension device without the sliding contact is obtained.
