The autonomous decision logic (MP1) compares expected and actual values of the flight parameters of the target to deliver Friend/Foe identification independent of known IFF equipment such as secondary radar. Expected values are input via a keyboard (ET), actual values come from the radars (FR, SR) and the vehicle navigation system (FNA) via the input and processing circuits (EB1, EB2). USE/ADVANTAGE - In fire control system for weaponry reduces probability of erroneous decisions.
