The conveyor device for moving bottles and cans has a conveyor surface beneath which is an underpressure for holding the objects. One or more conveyor belts designed as plate belts (7, 8) are mounted side by side and are guided directly on the suction intake channel (9) in guide openings (11). By using normal bottle and/or can plate belt conveyors an underpressure conveyor plane is formed by arranging suction channels (9) between the upper band and lower band. The interspaces (15) formed at the connecting points of the individual plates form the suction intake openings for the suction intake channel (9). ADVANTAGE - The device can be used for lightweight reusable plastics bottles without the need for special conversion measures.
