摘要 The gas laser has a resonator (12) with mirror arrangements set at each end (14,16). The resonator is configured as a folded type in which the emission is reflected by mirrors (13,15,17,19) to form two main parallel paths (18a,18c). A laser gas flows transversely (24) to the emission which outputs through one mirror (19). Excitation of the laser resonator is provided by a microwave source (42) coupled by a guide (46,48) to the chamber. ADVANTAGE - Improved excitation using low cost system.
