PURPOSE:To obtain the title lubricant which is nonflammable, can prolong tool life, and does not pollute working environment by covering a high- temperature lubricant insoluble or hardly soluble in water with an oil-soluble extreme-pressure additive and then dispersing it in an aqueous solution of a specified high-molecular dispersant. CONSTITUTION:1-20wt.% high-temperature lubricant comprising a solid powder insoluble or hardly soluble in water and having a melting point of 500 deg.C or higher is dispersed in 1-25wt.% oil-soluble extreme-pressure additive comprising a sulfur-and/or phosphorus-containing organic compound that is liquid or semi solid at room temperature. The dispersion is then dispersed in an aqueous solu tion consisting of 0.5-15wt.% water-soluble or water-dispersible high-molecular dispersant having a molecular weight of 1,000 to 1,000,000 and containing a nitrogenous group and phosphate ions bound thereto in the molecule at a molar ratio of the former to the latter of 1:(0.3 to 1.5) and the balance of water, thus giving an objective lubricant. |
