A metering device for free-flowing substances, like granulates, powders and liquids, consists of a container with an adjustable emptying device and a weighing device for the container or a conveyor track arranged behind the emptying device. To this is allocated an electronic circuit with a computing system to regulate and control the emptying device which counts the digital measuring pulses of the weighing device during a period of time, compares them with a set value and, in the event of a difference, provides a setting for the emptying device. In order to maintain a gravimetrically metered quantity in the event of outside interference and/or when the container is refilled, the circuit has a device for forming and processing a base value which, before the metering device is used for production, stores the measuring pulses from the weighing device in an environmentally unperturbed setting operation at one or more conveying speeds of the emptying device, converts the figures to the regulating range with the aid of the set value, and adds the base values to the measuring pulses formed during production during the occurrence of excessive measuring pulses or in time via a beat generator. In addition, the circuit compares the mixing values with the setting and, in the event of a difference, forms the setting for the emptying device. |
