PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition capable of selectively removing a wide range of weeds in paddy fields for a long period of time, having high safety to crops by combining a specific pyrimidine derivative with one selected from benthiocarb, pendimethalin, molinate and butachlor. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition comprising a mixture of one selected from a pyrimidine derivative shown by the formula [R is H, alkyl, alkaline (earth) metal or (organic) ammonium] and a salt thereof and one selected from S-(4-chlorobenzyl)-N,N-diethylthiocarbamate (namely benthiocarb), N-(1- ethylpropyl)-3,4-dimethyl-2,6-dinitroaniline (namely pendimethalin), S- ethylhexahydro-1H-azepine-1-carbothioate (namely molinate) and 2-chloro-2',6'- diethyl-N-(butoxymethyl)acetanilide (namely butachlor). |
