PURPOSE:To obtain a film pressure plate which prevents the generation of a static mark by burning and carbonizing a previously formed high polymer material in the presence of inert gas and thus obtaining a glassy carbonaceous material which has electric conductivity and self-lubricity and low frictional resistanc. CONSTITUTION:Thermosetting resin, such as phenol, epoxy and polyester, is formed previously in a prescribed shape to six pressure plates 21 which are linked mutually by a spool runner 22 and each have two holes 21. The respective formed pressure plates 21 are disconnected and burned and carbonized in the atmosphere of inert or nonoxidative gas or under vacuum. The carbonized pressure plate 23 and a pressure plate spring 24 are built up by inserting rivets 25 into the holes 21a. The burned pressure plate 21 may be burned and carbonized on the whole as shown by Fig.26 or may have the surface carbonized part 27a covering an unburnt part 27b. Thus, glassy carbonaceous parts 26 and 27 are provided to obtain a suitable film pressure plate. |
