Electrophotographic laser printing process - using colourless toner with glass transition temp. below 100 deg. C
摘要
The charge image is produced on a photoconductive drum corresp. to an original document. It is developed by a toner and transferred and fixed on the medium, esp. paper, to be printed. The colourless toner used has a glass transition temp. below 100 deg.C. The toner particles transferred to the medium are heated to a temp. above the glass transition level. Colouring matter is diffused in the heated toner for staining. The paper (5) is introduced into a first chamber (8a) with a heating wire (9a). A variable heater, e.g. a stationary thermo-comb (10a) is below the paper to be printed. A cleaning station (11a) removes adhering particles. ADVANTAGE - Variable printing process allowing a single photoconductive drum to produce variously coloured and multi-coloured prints reducing amt. of appts.
