PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can be filled into interstices among stranded wires of a cable conductor with a simple filling device and can be easily removed when the cables are to be connected by mixing a microcrystalline wax, an atactic PP, and graphite at a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:An objective composition consists of 30-70 pts.wt., preferably 35-60 pts.wt., microcrystalline wax (preferably one having a melting point of 60-100 deg.C), 70-30 pts.wt., preferably 65-40 pts.wt., atactic PP (preferably one having a molecular weight of 9,000 to 30,000 and a softening point of 120-160 deg.C), and 30-100 pts.wt., preferably 40-70 pts.wt., graphite. |
