PURPOSE:To avoid generation of jam by installing a speed detector on the delivery side of an ink sheet and detecting the unexpected feed rate of the ink sheet. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet 12 is forwarded from a bobbin 16, and wound on a bobbin 18. A first-color printing-start position is detected by a recording- start position detecting mark 20 on the ink sheet and the recording-start position detection sensor 22 of the ink sheet under the state in which the ink sheet 12 is wound by an ink-sheet winding motor 26 through the bobbin 18 and a clutch 24, and the printing-start position is set by stopping the ink-sheet winding motor 26 by a system controller 01. The feed rate of the ink sheet 12 is detected by an encoder 30 mounted on a guide roller 28 and a speed detecting sensor 32. Accordingly, generation of jam is prevented by simple constitution. |
