The bathroom, W.C. or kitchen, is ventilated by a pipe which passes through the sloping roof of the building. The part of the pipe which passes through the roof is supported by a plate (2) with a flange (3) along its upper edge. This flange fits over a lath (4) to which the tiles are attached. The plate has an integrally formed foot with a spherical upper surface which surrounds a central hole. The upper part (35) of the ventilation pipe has a collar (34) which has a spherical surface which matches the spherical surface of the foot. These features enable the upper part of the pipe to be held in a vertical position irrespective of the angle of slope of the roof. USE - Ventilation pipes for buildings with sloping roofs.
