<p>A thermal adjustment device for adjusting the temperature of an item to a desired value by blowing a gas at the desired temperature, comprising a pipe (1) for supplying gas at the appropriate temperature and means (9, 10) for insulating the item from the ambiant atmosphere. It also comprises a plate (14) distributing the gas over the entire main surface (8) of the item (5) exposed to the gas, the dimensions of this plate being at least those of the main surface of the item, and provided with an opening (17) virtually coaxial to the gas supply pipe. This plate is positioned between the end of tube (1) and the surface (8) of the item and extends approximately parallel to the said surface (8), said plate being associated with elastic means (15) enabling it to move transversally to the surface of the item, said means being calibrated so that, in operation, the plate is held in equilibrium away from the surface of the item under the effect of thrust by the elastic means and reaction in the opposite direction due to pressure of the gas flow in contact with the surface of the item.</p> |
