PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can prevent O2 gas from being generated due to decomposition of hydrogen peroxide and is suitable for bleaching clothing, fibers, pulp, and kitchenware and for removing mildew therefrom by using hydrogen peroxide and a specified perfume compound as the constituents. CONSTITUTION:An objective composition comprises hydrogen peroxide and 0.005-2% (preferably about 0.01-0.5%) of at least one perfume compound having at most one unsaturated bond in the molecule (e.g. 1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo-1,2,2- hepthanol-2,2-phenylethanol, 9-decen-1-ol or 2-methoxy-4-allylphenol). |
