PURPOSE:To form the ceramic film as a consumable casting mold by dipping a consumable pattern substrate in a boiling dispersion of ceramic powder in methanol to deposit the ceramics on the substrate and repeating the drying of methanol. CONSTITUTION:The mother die 7 of the consumable casting mold of paraffin wax is placed in a basket 8, preheated by methanol in the solidifying zone 2, then dipped in the boiling zone 3a consisting of 70% methanol and 30% inorg. polysilazane oil, pulled up and dried in the solidifying zone 2. The mother die is alternately and repeatedly moved to a boiling zone 3b contg. 30% methanol, 20% inorg. polysilazane oil and 50% zircon flower, a boiling zone 3c contg. 50% methanol and 50% zircon sand and the solidifying zone 2, and finally dipped in a boiling zone 3d contg. 50% methanol and 50% high-alumina sand. Methanol is removed by drying in the solidifying zone 2 to form plural layers of ceramic film, then the mother die pattern 7 made of paraffin wax is removed by dissolution, and a casting mold of the ceramic film is produced. |
