PURPOSE:To reduce the resistance and improve the ion-permselectivity, shape stability, and handleability by laminating at least two layers, i.e., a first layer comprising a specific weakly basic anion exchanger and a second layer comprising a specific strongly basic anion exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A first layer comprising a weakly basic anion exchanger, having an ion exchange capacity of 0.5-3.5 milliequivalents/g dry resin and obtd. by introducing weakly basic ion exchanging groups into arom. rings of an arom. styrenic block copolymer of formula I, is laminated with a second layer comprising a strongly basic anion exchanger, pref. obtd. by introducing strongly basic anion exchanging groups into the arom. rings of the copolymer of formula I, and, if necessary, further laminated with a porous membrane. In formula I, Ar is a group of formula II-IV; X is -SO2-, formula V, -S-, or -O-; Y is -SO2, -S-, or -O-; Z is a single bond, X, or formula VI; R1 to R9 are each a 1-8C hydrocarbon group; a-d are each 0-4; e is 0-3; f+g is 0-7; h+i is 0-5; R10 and R11 are each H, or a 1-6C hydrocarbon group; m and n are each 2-200; and m/n is (100:1)-(1:10). |
