The inductive arrangement for determining the throughput of a flowing medium consists of a housing and a movable dynamic press body (7) in the housing. Stimulation coils (5a,5b) supplied with a.c. are mounted on each end of a magnetised soft mangetic core (5) with a secondary coil (2) between them. The dynamic press. body (7) is arranged to move longitudinally w.r.t. the core. Two magnets (8,9) are arranged in the moving body with opposite poles facing each other. ADVANTAGE - Enables measurement of instantaneous throughout of flowing medium without requiring to be visually accessible.
