<p>The equipment monitors the presence of articles near a person, having a main unit(1) on the person, and a large number of subsidiary ones (2) on the articles. The units each have a processing circuit and a memory unit, an emitter, and a receiver. Each memory unit stores all address codes fed to it, and when in the address mode, the main unit sends out the address codes stored via a detection signal. In each subsidiary unit the address code received is compared with one stored in its memory unit, and when they agree emits a corresponding answering signal. The main unit generated an alarm signal if no corresponding answering signal is received within a predetermined time.</p> |
