Packaging for an element with a thin elongate portion comprises two flexible sheets adhered together to form a space for the element formed by a bulging-out part for the elongate portion which has a partly corrugated profile. The packaging can comprise an additional sheet for fixing the portion in position. Pref. a sheet or the sheets are of paper with a polyethylene coating for welding them together.
