A slide arrestor which prevents the sliding or slipping of loads, particularly corrugated-board packages or goods wrapped in soft packaging materials, and which includes a plate (1) that is provided on two surfaces thereof with outwardly projecting studs or pins (2) which engage the load packaging material. The plate can be bent through an angle of 90 DEG so that the pins or studs on one side of the plate will engage with two mutually perpendicular sides of the packaged goods with the edge of said packaged goods protected by said plate and the pins or studs on the other side of the plate are spaced apart such as to hold in position the strapping (D) used to strap the packaged goods (E) while allowing the strapping to be moved between the pins or studs. |
