The rod is applied in the field of sports, especially for power training and general physical training of well-conditioned athletes and for lifting enthusiasts at home or in training halls. It has a simplified, compact, and reliable design, which ensures an overall length adjustment. The rod includes a carrying bar (1) and carrying pins (3), on which a set of weights (10) is strung together with cross grooves (4) shaped on the surface across the axes of journals (3). The carrying lever (1) is hollow and the carrying pins (3) are mounted detachably with a movable joint in the cavity of the carrying lever (1). External to the carrying journals (3), flanges (5, 6) are fixed for pressing the set of weights (10).
