METHOD FOR DIGNOSIS OF HELMINTOSE BY CANIDI

This method is used in human and veterinary medicine, particularly in helminthology. It is a precision method for the discovery and identification of whole helminths, parts thereof, and germs, as well as for specimen protection for specialised examination. Using this method the specimen material is fixed in a 10% formalin solution at a temperature of 100-120 degrees C for a period of 45 minutes to 5 hours. The specimens are then treated with a solution containing equal parts of 0.5 % hydrochloric acid solution and 10% pepsin solution. This is followed by further re-hydration in alcoholic solution in a pathohistological succession and clarification with methyl benzoate. Finally, the specimens are observed under a microscope.
