Disclosed herein is a method of using an oxide superconducting conductor in a state including a transition region between a superconducting state and a normal conducting state, i.e., a flux flow state, by supplying the oxide superconducting conductor with a current exceeding its critical current. The oxide superconducting conductor can be used as a current lead for a superconducting magnet or the like, to extremely reduce current loss as compared with a conventional current load of copper. |
