PURPOSE:To provide a suspension type lighting fixture, which ensures enhancement of the uniformity ratio of illuminance on the ceiling and floor surfaces, by furnishing a reflecting plate having a reflex surface to reflect the light projected from a lamp upward to an opening for irradiation provided in the oversurface and another reflex surface to reflect the same toward an opening for irradiation provided in the undersurface. CONSTITUTION:The beams of light projected from lamps 8, 8 are reflected upward by the reflex surfaces 10, 13 of a central reflecting plate 9 and a side reflecting plate, respectively, and cast off through an opening for irradiation 2 in the oversurface, and then controlled by an upward directed louver to illuminate the ceiling surface 5, whose illuminance is thus raised. The beams are also reflected downward by reflex surfaces 11, 14 of the central reflecting plate 9 and side reflecting plate 12, respectively, and cast off through another opening for irradiation 3 provided in the undersurface, and then controlled by louver 7 to illuminate the down side. |
